Customers must not have to re-enter information they already provided
Typing the same address twice is tedious for everyone and a real barrier for people with motor or cognitive impairments, who make more errors and tire sooner. Every extra field in the checkout raises the chance that the order is abandoned.

What the check does
Detects checkout flows that ask for the billing address after the shipping address without a "same as shipping address" option or pre-filled values (3.3.7).
The check runs only on checkout and account pages. It sorts visible, enabled address fields into a billing and a shipping block, using keywords in five languages found in the field’s own attributes and label, then in up to ten surrounding containers, then in the nearest preceding heading or legend. Each block needs at least two fields such as street, postal code, city, country or region; name, email and phone fields alone do not make one.
When both blocks are shown, the page passes if an enabled checkbox, radio button, switch, select, button or link that is not hidden from assistive technology pairs a word such as “same”, “copy” or “different” with an address word. “Same day” delivery options do not count. Otherwise one finding is placed on the billing block. A billing block hidden until requested is not counted.
Field values are not read, so the check cannot tell whether billing fields arrive pre-filled. A scan never goes past the first checkout step.
How to fix it
Offer a "Billing address same as shipping address" option that is checked by default, or pre-fill the billing fields from the shipping step, and keep entered data when a customer goes back a step.
